Nancy D. Dottavio

Nancy Diane Dottavio, 74, of Canton, passed away on February 16, 2023. She was born on February 27, 1948 to the late Ed and Lois (Baltzly) Carr. She was a 1966 Fairless High School Graduate and later graduated from the Aultman School of Nursing. She married Charles A. Dottavio on April 01, 2004 and they were together for over 30 years.

Nancy was a Registered Nurse at Akron General Hospital, retiring after 40 years of service. Nancy enjoyed singing, in the Canton Civic Opera, reading, sewing, cooking, crocheting and gardening. She was a kind and generous soul, who believed in helping others. Nancy will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Charles; her daughter Anjeanette Cowell; her grandchildren Mitchell Cowell and Matthew Cowell; her step-children Denise Dottavio, Michelle (Keith) Galayda and Lori Dottavio; her step-grandchildren, Mason Dottavio, Andrew (Sarah) Galayda, Alyssa Galayda and Tara Dottavio; her sisters Charlotte Larson, Mary Carr and Patti Loshark and host of family and friends.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and services were private. Donations in Nancy's name can be made to Wounded Warriors or to a charity of one's choice. Messages of sympathy and support can be left at www.paquelet.com.
