Mona L. " Betty" Smith

Mona L. “Betty Smith, 97, formerly of Massillon, passed away in Zephyrhills, Florida on August 29, 2021, following an extended illness. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on April 27, 1934 to Carl and Mona (Callow) Hess. She lived in the Massillon area most of her life moving to Zephyrhills, Florid to be closer to family. Mona retired from Republic Steel and was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. She is survived by her granddaughter, Natalie Zuniga and 3great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mona was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Smith; daughter, Barbara Jean Lemley; siblings, Robert, John and Rayman Hess and Lois Adams A Private Entombment will take place at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
