Minnie Elizabeth Miller

Minnie E. Miller, 88 of Massillon, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2015. Minnie was born on October 24, 1926 in Bowling Green, KY, to the late Hubert and Crittie (Calvert) Whitney. She was a longtime resident of Massillon and worked at Central States Can Co. Minnie enjoyed cooking, collecting antiques and shopping. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Wm. Herman Miller, her son, James Douglas Lawrence, her grandson James Devin Lawrence, her brothers Robert, Ernest, James and Howard Whitney and her sisters, Ruth, Rhoena and Mae Atris. She is survived by her sons, Keith Miller and David Miller; her step-son, Freddie Miller; her grandchildren, Kevin Miller, Alisha Lawrence and Dayzha Blaine; 4 great grandchildren, and her brothers, Hubert (Gloria) and Lawrence (Mary Ann) Whitney. A Homegoing Celebration will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 9th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
