Mindie Handwork

Mindie Handwork, 60, of Perry Township, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022. Mindie was born on September 25, 1961, in Columbus, Ohio the daughter of Johnny and Bonnie (Bundy) Miller. Mindie was a 1979 graduate of Timken High School. She worked for Synchrony Financial as a manager for the past 37 years. Mindie was a very strong woman. She was loving, caring, and considerate of others. Mindie would go out of her way for others to comfort them. She was a crafter, decorator, and outstanding cook. At Christmas time she would bake for everybody. She also made flower arrangements, stamping, and scrapbooking. Mindie was a great listener and would give advice to those who would reach out. She was preceded in death by her father, John Miller. She is survived by her children, Drew Handwork, and Adriane Handwork; grandson, James Patterson; mother, Bonnie Miller; sister, Velvet Hayes; nephew, Taylor Hayes; brother, Marty Steiner; former spouse, Douglas Handwork; and all her work family from GE Capital and Synchrony. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, from 4-6 p.m. The service will follow at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Breast Cancer Awareness.
