Mildred Pearl Long, age 95, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 22, 2012 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born in Harrison County, Ohio, on December 28, 1916 to Wilbert Garfield Arnold and Margaret Eichelberry. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Austin L. Long in 1992, brothers Leonard, Luther, Wilbert, and Ellsworth Arnold and sisters Bertha May, Mabel Frances and Helen Golda Arnold. Survived by devoted children Susan Elaine Long and Austin Paul Long (Debbie) and grandchildren Melissa Mitchell, Ryan Stuckey, Krissy Long, Ashley, Allison and Austin Long, and great-grandchildren Kyle and Kevin Butler, Tyler Mitchell, Kayla, Kellie and Zack Cole all of Cincinnati, Ohio. Mildred resided in Massillon until 1999, when she moved to Cincinnati to be close to her family. Mildred was employed by the Massillon School Board of Education and enjoyed volunteering at Massillon City Hospital and delivering Meals-on-Wheels after her retirement. She was a long-time member of Christ United Methodist Church of Massillon and attended Hope Evangelical Church in Mason, Ohio. Mildred touched many lives with her loving, gentle spirit and will be greatly missed and always remembered. Heaven has a beautiful, new angel. A service to celebrate her life will take place on Friday at 2:00 P.M. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Rev. Jeffrey Coggins officiating.
