Mildred L. Walters

Mildred L. Walters, age 88 of Massillon, passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Aultman Hospital. She was born in Dover, Ohio on October 2, 1929 and was the daughter of the late Ward and Emmaline (Aikins) Moore. Mildred worked diligently at Republic Steel where she retired. Mildred also ran the Café Black Rose for some time. Mildred took care of those around her and will be missed dearly. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Vincent Walters, her son; Samuel Smith, her sisters; Doris Moore, Wilma Moore and Dorothy Blakely and her brothers; Blaine Moore, Cottrell Moore and William Moore. Mildred is survived by her son Tony Jordan,her granddaughters, Gabrielle Jordan and Victoria Thomas, her sister Sara Spencer, her brother Charles Moore, Sr., her special niece Christina Collins and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members and friends. The funeral will take place on Friday, August 17th at 11:00 am and the family will receive friends from 10-11 am at the Paquelet Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to assist the family with final expenses.
