Mildred L. Griffith

Mildred L. Griffith, 94 of Jackson Township, passed away on June 30 2012 at Country Lawn Nursing Home. She was born on September 25, 1917 to the late Jay C. & Gertrude Galspie Atwater. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She had a love antiques and won an award from The State of Ohio for her Environmental Activism. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin J. Griffith and a sister, Irene Sassaman. She is survived by her two children; David & John Griffith, 5 grandchildren; Susan, Thomas, Edward, Melissa, Andrew, 8 great-grandchildren; Joseph, Abraham, McKenzie, Thomas, Zachery, Carter, Brayden, Luke and two sisters: Floradelle Pfahl & Belva Codding and dear friend Terri. Friends may call one hour prior to a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM on Friday July 6, 2012 in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Father John T. Tully, Celebrant.
