Milan R. Chovan

Milan Richard Chovan, 92, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great-great grandfather, has passed away on April 1st, 2023. Born on February 16th, 1931 in Massillon, Ohio to John and Zusana Chovan. Milan is proceeded in death by both his parents, his beloved wife, Josephine Chovan, two brothers: John (Ann) Chovan and Albert Chovan, his five sisters: Ann (John) Bartko, Nellie (Steve) Ruman, Sue (Ed) Elavaski, Irene ( Tom) Marsh, and Millie (George) Peach and beautiful, beloved daughter Jacki Rose.

He is survived by three children , William (Lynne) Chovan, Lorraine ( Geoff) Fritz, Robert (Lori) Chovan, Granddaughters, Jennifer (Steve) Kelly, Adrienne Chovan, Jacquelyn Robinson, Robyn Rose, Shannon (Phil) Schneider, 8 Great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

A graduate of Washington High School, Milan was a veteran of The United States Air Force and retired from Goodyear Aerospace. He loved his family and friends. A passionate and dedicated sports fan to his Ohio teams, Milan especially loved his Massillon Tigers.

Visitation will be at Paquelet Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Road, NE Massillon, Ohio on Friday, April 7th from 2:30pm to 3:30pm with services following at 3:30pm . Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
