Midloskia "Midda" H. Fite II

Midloskia "Midda" Fite, 59, of Canton, went Home to be with The Lord on November 27, 2024 at Aultman Hospital. 

He was born on May 22, 1965 to Midloskia "Middy" and Geraldine (Oliver) Fite, Sr. in Canton, OH. 

A graduate of Perry High School, he received his associate degree from Northern Iowa University. Midda retired from Indian River Juvenile Detention Facility in 2018. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. A well known athlete in the area in his youth, Midda went on to play football at Northern Iowa University. He later continued to be involved with the over 30 league sports. He also enjoyed bowling, gaming and spending time with his family and friends. 

Midda is survived by his loving mother, Geraldine Fite; siblings, Vernell Jones, Marcus (Alma) Fite, and Diane Walker; three nephews and two nieces; and a host of other family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Midloskia "Middy" Herman Fite, Sr.; and sister, Marissa Fite.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 7, 2024, 11:00 am - 12:00pm at Friendship Baptist Church, Massillon, with a Home Going Celebration at 12:00pm with Pastor Troy Richardson, officiating, and Pastor Anthony Robinson, Eulogist. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
