Michelle R. (Nee Benson) Woods

Michelle R. Woods, age 54 of Massillon passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on October 21, 2017. She was born on April 20, 1963 to the late Orin and Hazel Benson. She was a graduate of Washington High School. She married Kenneth Woods on September 05, 1981 and they shared 36 years together. Michelle was the Lead Server at Shady Hollow Country Club for 21 years. She enjoyed spending time with family, going out to eat with her husband and friends and shopping with her daughter. She will always be remembered for her selflessness, humor and kindness. She is survived by her husband Ken; her daughter Rylie; her brother Mark (Karen) Benson; her nieces Cali Turley and Jayme (Mike) Mitchell and her nephew Toby (Courtney) Benson; her-in-laws Joyce and Junior Woods; her brothers-in-law Mike, Doug, and Greg Woods as well as a host of friends. A celebration of Michelle’s life will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Noon at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. The visitation will be from 10a.m. until the time of service.
