Michelle M. "Shell" Strobelt

Michelle M. Strobelt, 61, of Jackson Township, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022. Shell was born on November 30, 1960, in Massillon, the daughter of Ralph Gutshall and Nancy (Strider) Hupp. She was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1979 graduate of Perry High School. She retired from Plain Local Schools after 30 years of service. Shell loved country music, attending concerts, vacationing, spending time at the beach, shopping, reading, and spending time with her dogs. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Gutshall, and stepmother, Dianne Day. She is survived by her children, Gregory Strobelt and Abby Strobelt; mother, Nancy (Strider) Hupp; sister and brothers, Renee (Randy) Spino, Kent Gutshall, Eric (Felicia) Gutshall, and Ryan Gutshall; and niece and nephew, Brittany (Monte) Mitchell and Zach (Kelsey) Spino. Friends and family are invited to gather at Paquelet Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, from 6 – 8 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery.
