Michelle M. Nelson

Michelle Marie (Hall) Nelson of Massillon was welcomed peacefully by the Lord on Tuesday, April 5, 2016. Michelle, age 48, dedicated 25 years of her career to cardiac care at Mercy Medical Center as a registered nurse and eventually a clinical manager. But most importantly, she devoted her entire life to being a loving and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. Born in Johnstown, Pa., Michelle went to Conemaugh Valley High School and continued her education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she received her BSN. After spending two years at Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie, Pa., she moved to Canton in 1991. Many could spot Michelle from down the hall with her bright red hair, and knew a smiling face was on its way to greet them. Her strong faith led her through her 10-month battle with cancer. Michelle is survived by her husband, Erik; daughters, Amy and Kristen; granddaughter, Gabriella; parents, Harold and Ruth Hall; sister, Donna (John) Hubbard; brothers Harold Hall, Jr., Ken (Jodie) Hall, and Jim (Sue) Hall. Calling hours will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, April 8 at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. There will also be calling hours at 12-1 p.m. on Saturday, April 9 at Christ Lutheran Church in Massillon, followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. and a celebration of her life at 2 p.m. Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home & Crematory 330-833-4839
