Michalene A. Perry

Michalene A. Perry, 71 passed on Wednesday, April 27, 2022. She was born on August 5, 1950, in Massillon and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Keough) Miglich. She was an only child and was a Massillon resident all of her life. She is survived by her beloved husband, William K. Perry. In 1993, William moved to Massillon from the Carolinas and lived with his aunt Linda and uncle David. His aunt Linda had a friend named Ellen who was also a friend of Michalene’s. One day Ellen and Linda took Michalene and William out to lunch. Although Michalene and William didn’t talk much that day, a few days later William asked his aunt for Michalene’s phone number. He called her and they got together often, and he eventually asked her to marry him, and she said yes. That was the beginning of a MARRIAGE MADE IN HEAVEN. They married on November 26, 1993, and have been together for 28 years. She is also survived by cousins and friends who will miss her very much. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, May 4, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.
