Michael Shiplett

Michael Shiplett, age 38 of Massillon, died Monday, February 19, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born on January 20, 1969 in Massillon and was the son of Dale and Lisa Shiplett. He was a 1987 graduate of Washington High School and attended Mansfield Business College. He studied at the Traynor Police Academy and was on the Brewster Police Force. He was a veteran of the US Army. He is survived by his wife; Victoria Shiplett, his 3 daughters; Katherine, Jessica & Rebecca Shiplett, his parents, Dale & Lisa Shiplett, his brothers; Tony (Lisa) Shiplett and Steven (Diane) Shiplett and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 1:30 PM at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials to the American Diabetes Association.
