Michael A. “Mike” Ream, age 60, of Massillon passed away Friday November 20, 2009 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Mike was born August 23, 1949 in Massillon to the late William Ream and Jean (Morgan) Dailey. He was a truck driver for Republic Steel and most recently Lowe’s. Mike was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam. He was a member of the Massillon American Legion Post # 0888, and the Faith Family Church. Mike enjoyed golf, and was an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan as well as the Ohio State Buckeyes. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and the family pets. Mike’s greatest love in life was his wife, and son who meant the world to him. He is survived by his wife Kim (Johnson) whom he married December 10, 1991, and son Michael A. Ream Jr. ; brother David (Nan) Ream of Santa Rosa Beach, FL; sister Carol (Ric) Deitsch of Jackson Twp. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Richard Ream, and sister Nancy Merry. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. at Paquelet Funeral Home 1100 Wales Rd. NE. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with his nephew Pastor Patrick Gardiner officiating. Interment with graveside military honors will follow at Massillon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Mike’s memory may be given to Aultman Hospice.
