Michael Ray Mcintyre

Michael Ray Paul McIntyre, 64, of Massillon, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022. Mike was born on August 16, 1957, in Massillon, the son of the late Verle and Alice (Palmer) McIntyre. He was a lifelong resident of Massillon, and a 1976 graduate of Washington High School. Mike worked as a print shop color technician for Danner Press and Sun Chemical retiring after 35 plus years of service. He was a huge NASCAR fan and specifically followed Dale Sr. and Dale Jr. Mike was an avid Ohio sports fan, cheering on the Browns, Cavs, Indians, Ohio State University and Massillon Tigers. He enjoyed many years of camping and fishing at Indian Lakes Campground in Indiana. Most of all Mike loved spending time with his family and friends. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Terri McIntyre in 2017, whom he shared most of his life with and his brother, James McIntyre. He is survived by his daughters, Michelle (Adam Cunningham) McIntyre and Alyson (Tyrie Clifford) McIntyre; grandchildren, Quintyn Buchanan, Tyrie Clifford, Jr., Storm Minton, Amara Cunningham, and one grandchild on the way; sister, Patricia (Robert) Varble; other nieces and nephews; and his four legged companion, Layla. A Celebration of Michael’s life will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 3 p.m. at Paquelet Funeral Home.
