Michael Poulelis

Michael Poulelis, 82, passed away on November 16, 2021. He was born in Massillon on June 16, 1939 to Pete P. and Mary (Kakake) Poulelis. Michael served in The United States Army and retired from LTV –Republic Steel. He was a member of St. George Orthodox Church, Massillon. An avid golfer, Michel was a regular at the Elm’s Tournament and many area golf courses. He was a big fan of The Massillon Tigers and The Cincinnati Bengals. He is survived by his children, Diana L., Athena Poulelis and Michael P.; two grandchildren, Eric Fliger and Brittany Keller; a great-grandchild, MichaelAngello Jenkins-Elmore; sister, Georgia Ross; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Joann (Guardabascio) Poulelis; siblings, Bill and wife Cathy, John Poulelis and Diane and husband Harry Ifantiedes, Sr; nephew, Harry Infantiedes, Jr; and a brother in law, Thomas Ross. The family will receive friends form 11am-1pm on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the Paquelet Funeral Home with a funeral service to be held at 1pm, The Very Rev. Fr. Spiro Kehayes officiating.
