Michael Neil Turskey, age 43 of Massillon passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family and friends on Monday, May 20, 2013, after a courageous and heroic battle with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Mike was born on July 19, 1969, to his proud parents. Darwin ''Turk' and Norma (Lynn) Turskey. He graduated from Massillon Washington High School in 1988. After graduation, he continued his schooling and became a certified HVAC/R technician and has worked for CR Kurtz for over 20 years. With an entrepreneurial spirit, Mike purchased and managed rnultiple rental properties, developed several small entrepreneurial businesses and co¬-founded Massillon Storage with his father. Michael, affectionately known as "Bones," had a true zest for life. He lived every moment of his 43 years with passion, boundless humor, and commitment. He loved traveling and traveled extensively throughout the United States the Caribbean and Mexico. He enjoyed Offshore Power Boat Racing, riding motorcycles, the beach and rnost importantly, spending time with his loving family, friends and his pets, Flop, Jade and Buddy. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George and Mary Turskey and maternal grandparents, Norman and Pauline Lynn and his uncle, Mike Lynn. In addition to his parents, Norma and Turk, he is survived by his sister, Candy Armstrong of Massillon; brother, Christopher (Tina) Turskey of Texas; nieces and nephews, Ryan, Tyler, Zachary and Emma of Texas and Robyn. Riley and great-nephew Joshua of Florida; loving aunts and uncle, Karen (Myron) Croskey, Veryl (Ruth Ann) Turskey, Patricia S. Lynn and Robin D. Lynn. In addition he leaves behind his loving and devoted girlfriend, Constance McGough, best-friend, Wheat Crofut as well as numerous cousins and loyal friends. Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon has been entrusted with arrangements for his cremation. There will be no calling hours. A funeral and memorial service to celebrate the life of Michael will be held on Saturday May 25, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Stanwood Community Church. Special thanks to the staff members of 2200 at Affinity Medical Center and Community Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Hospice of Stark, Carroll and Tuscarawas County.
