Michael L. Shundry, 69, of Perry Township, passed away Friday, May 5, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family following a hard fought battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Michael was born on June 6, 1947 in Canton, the son of the late Philip and Esther (Billman) Shundry. He was a United States Army veteran and was stationed in Germany during Vietnam. Michael retired from the Timken Company after 37 years of service. He enjoyed all sports, working outdoors, classic cars, and spending time with his grandchildren who adored him. Mike was a hard worker and would do anything for his family who loved him dearly. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Philip Shundry. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy (Steffen) Shundry whom he married on November 17, 1973; his children Tiffany (Ted) Humphrey and Jason Shundry, Tiffany Evans his loving girlfriend; grandchildren, Vincent Dillon, Lexie & Tristan Shundry, Lilah & Savannah Humphrey; brothers, Gary (Paula) Shundry and James (Valerie) Shundry; sister, Phyllis Shundry; family and good friends. According to his wishes cremation has taken place. The family will have a private gathering at a later date.
