Michael J. Herrick

Michael J. Herrick age 44 of Seaford, DE passed away Sunday, September 16, 2009. Mike was born October 24, 1964 in Massillon to Roger & Ann (Turkal) Herrick. He was a 1983 graduate of Washington High School. Working the last 10 years as a technical service representative for Veolia Environmental Services out of the North East Maryland facility, Mike had over 20 years in the field. He enjoyed shooting pool, playing Frisbee, golf, collecting coins and forecasting the winners of, then watching college and professional football games. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Roger Herrick in 1990. He is survived by his mother, Ann Herrick of Massillon; three sisters, Elizabeth (Michael) Taylor of Michigan City, IN, Catherine (Robert) Gustafson of Canton, Susan (Kevin) Connor of North Canton; two brothers, Captain Joseph Herrick of Massillon, Thomas (Diana) Herrick of Akron, and nine nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10:00 A.M.at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 P.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home 1100 Wales Rd. NE. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Roger Herrick scholarship fund or the St. Vincent de Paul Society, both of St. Joseph’s Church.
