Michael D. Tracy

Michael D. Tracy, age 64, of Massillon passed away on March 17, 2021, due to complications of Covid-19. He was born on September 12, 1956, to the late Robert and Lois Tracy. Michael was a graduate of Jackson High School class of 1975. He was employed with the Jackson Township Highway Department for 35 and a half years and retired in 2012. In retirement, he worked part time for Stoney Excavation. Michael enjoyed doing yard work and was an avid baseball fan, especially the Cleveland Indians. Above all he loved being a “Pop” to his two grandsons. Michael is survived by his wife Lisa Tracy; children Erin (Chris) Long, Dylan (Elizabeth) Tracy; grandchildren Carter Long and William Tracy. He is also preceded in death by his brother Mark Tracy. Cremation has taken place at this time. Per his request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Covid-19 Research or the American Lung Association.
