Michael B. Kittinger

Michael B. Kittinger, age 46, of Dalton, Ohio passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at his residence after a short illness with cancer. Mike was born December 11, 1965 in Louisville, OH to Bruce & Carolyn (Zwick) Kittinger. He was a 1984 graduate of Louisville High School and attended Kent State University. Mike was a 25 year employee of Flanagan & Nist Paint Company and managed the store at Belden Village. He was involved in his community starting as an Eagle Scout and a member of the Louisville and Nimishillen Volunteer Fire Departments. Family and friends will remember Mike for his sense of humor and easy going attitude. His talents included mastering the skills of woodworking, painting, and finishing projects to perfection. He was also an avid boater and gardener. He was a Christian who lived and shared his faith. He was predeceased by his mother Carolyn Kittinger. Mike was a loving husband to his wife Charise (Trenor) Kittinger with whom he shared nineteen years of marriage; his father, Bruce (Kathy) Kittinger; two sisters, Elizabeth Kittinger and MaryJo (Matt) Cooper; brother, Tom (Kim) Kittinger; mother-in-law, Barb Trenor; brother-in-law, Clint (Christie) Trenor; six nephews; and a niece. A Celebration of Michael's Life will be 11 AM Saturday at The Chapel in Green. Pastor Mike Castelli will officiate. Friends may call Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon and from 10 AM Saturday until the time of the service at The Chapel. Burial will be at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
