Michael A. 'Mike' Koprivec

Michael A. Koprivec, age 46, of Wooster, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Affinity Medical Center peacefully, surrounded by his family. He was born on June 6, 1964 in Orrville, Ohio. He was employed at Anheuser-Busch in Canton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Arnold & Faye Boak and his paternal grandmother Katherine Close. Mike will live on through his soul mate and partner in love, Melodie, whom he married on November 25, 2009 and through his only son, Jakob, who was his pride and joy. Also surviving are his mother, Donna (Tim) Ritter, his father Donald (Carolyn) Koprivec, his brother, Scott (Lisa) Koprivec and their children Justin and Rilee, his half brother, Kenny (Rachel) Koprivec, 3 step brothers and 3 step sisters. Mike devoted his time to his two best friends, his wife and his son. He was an avid Nascar fan and a huge Ohio State enthusiast. Mike loved to go hunting with his dad and son. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Butcher officiating. Cremation will follow. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6-8 P.M. and on Saturday one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation on behalf of his son, Jakob or to assist the family with expenses.
