Michael A. Elavsky

Michael A. Elavsky, age 83 of Massillon, died Saturday, August 23, 2008 at his home. He was born on August 5, 1925 in Massillon and was the son of the late Michael and Anna (Bosco) Elavsky. He was a lifelong area resident. He retired from the former Republic Steel and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death in 1998 by his beloved wife of 53 years, Carol Jane Elavsky. He is survived by his sons and their wives, Larry and Marian Elavsky of Deltona, FL and Terry and Rita Elavsky of Canton, his brothers, Eugene Elavsky, Donald (Betty) Elavsky and Robert (Jan) Elavsky all of Massillon, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home with Rev. Herbert Garnes officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
