Melvin L. Miller

Melvin L. Miller, age 54 of Massillon, passed away at his residence on June 11, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was born in Canton on December 30, 1959 and was the son of the late Seaser and Emma (Miller) Kirkland. Melvin was a graduate of Washington High School and worked in construction. Melvin enjoyed life and his family. He was an avid fan of the Massillon Tigers, OSU and the Cleveland Browns. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Kim Copeland. He is survived by his wife Jackie (Jeandrevin) Miller, whom he married on May 11, 2000, children, Jennifer Turley, Daniel Miller, Stacie Miller, Shanelle Miller, Gabrielle Gray, Jack Haddox and Michael Boron. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews, his brother Eric Spicer and Cecil Pete Kirkland and his sister Jacqueline Kirkland. A service to celebrate his life will take place on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 3:00 P.M at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral with Celebrant Kevin O'Brien officiating.
