Melissa Marie Kester

Melissa Kester, 46, of Massillon, passed away on Tuesday, December 06, 2022, surrounded by her family and friends.

Missy was born on March 14, 1976, in Massillon to Linda (Herron) Kester and the late Todd Kester. Missy was a 1995 graduate of Perry High School. She enjoyed camping, swimming, lying in the sun, sitting around a campfire, and going for long car rides just to enjoy a change of scenery. Missy was a huge Prince fan. She also loved watching the Cleveland Indians and playing UNO. When Missy wasn’t spending time with her kids, she was very artistic and could make any craft imaginable. Missy enjoyed staying home with her family and extended family who aren’t blood. Missy’s door was always open, and she was considered a second mom to so many.

Missy is survived by her two sons, Kyle (Madison) Kester and Skyler McCreary; daughter, Khloe McCreary; brother, Mark (Cathy) Kester; sister, Gina (Jesse) Yorty; granddaughter, Kambry Kester; nieces, Amanda (Phillip) Renicker, Jordan (Chris) Cash, Ezri Yorty; nephews, Carter Kester, Landyn Yorty,; great nephews, Maverick Renicker, Phillip Renicker, great niece, Lemmy Renicker; beloved companion Shane McCreary of 26 years; and her dog Tank.
