Melissa Ava Hoover

Melissa Ava Hoover, 50, of Massillon, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 29, 2019. Melissa was born on July 7, 1969 in Canton, OH the daughter of Kenneth and Catherine (James) Hoover. She was a lifelong resident of Stark County and a 1986 graduate of Timken High School. Melissa had a passion for dogs. She trained and boarded dogs for the last decade. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Hoover. She is survived by her mother, Catherine (James) Hoover; her sister, Lizbeth (Christopher) Wos; and her niece and nephew, Jules and Jamie Gladwell. There will be no calling hours or services.
