Mattie Christine Weaver

Mattie Christine Weaver, age 93 of Massillon, Ohio passed away on Friday, August 16, 2013 at Hanover House in Perry Township. She was born on December 16, 1919 in Bardley, Missouri and was the daughter of the late Frank and Mabel (Banks) Lewis. Prior to being at Hanover House, she resided at Amherst Meadows. She attended First Baptist Church in Massillon. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Rev. C.A. Weaver, one sister and two brothers. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Ronald D. (Mary) Weaver of Arizona, Kenneth D. (Esther) Weaver of Massillon and Karen (Elliott) DeLeon of New York. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6- 8 P.M. with a devotional service at 7:45 P.M. with Dr. Roger Alber officiating. Burial will take place at Union Cemetery in Westfield, NY on Friday.
