Matthew Lee Brown

Matthew Lee Brown age 40, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away suddenly on the 11th of February, 2017. Matthew was born in Canton, Ohio, to Richard and Karen Brown (Grassler) on Sept. 24, 1976. He graduated in 1996 from Massillon Washington High School in Massillon, Ohio. His interests included spending time with his family, friends, playing cards, computers, technology and history. His father, Richard Brown; grandmother, Olga Lees, and uncle, Gary Grassler preceded Matthew in death. He is survived by his daughter, Kylee; mother, Karen Brown of Massillon, Ohio; brother, Stephen (Jamie) Brown; and niece, Abigail Brown of La Grange Park, Ill.; grandmother, Kathleen Santilli; aunt, Dorothy Laubacher; and uncle, David Grassler of Massillon, Ohio. Memorial service will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Massillon, Ohio, at 10 a.m. on March 18, 2017. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to many family members and friends that touched Matthew's life and have kept him in their thoughts and prayers.
