Maryann Younker

Maryann Younker, age 73 of Massillon, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at the Legends. Maryann was born on March 6, 1936 in Massillon to the late Alec & Evelyn (Dale) John. She was a 1954 graduate of Washington High School. Maryann worked at the former Freigs Restaurant in Massillon for over 30 years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Waldon (2005); brother, Halit John (2003) and a sister, Elizabeth Miller (2001). Maryann is survived by three sisters and a brother, Freda John of Canton, Victor John of Norfolk, VA, Margaret Ryder and Evelyn Flounders both of Massillon and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A chapel service will be on Saturday at 10 AM at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon.
