Mary Zimmerman

Mary C. Zimmerman, age 75, of Massillon passed away suddenly Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born November 4, 1935 in Massillon the daughter of the late Walter and Edith (Glorus) Holman. Mary was employed by the Massillon State Hospital retiring in 1994. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, playing bingo, and visiting family. She is survived by daughters Edye Cary, Jennie (Larry) Sprunk, and Paula (Monte) Zimmerman all of Massillon; 22 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters Barbara Mendez of Massillon, Therese (Duane) Pagenkopf of Brewster, and Sandy (Stanley) Kovac of Massillon; brothers Walter Holman Jr., and Lawrence (Jaque) Holman both of Massillon; beloved nephew Larry (Nancy) Englehardt of Massillon. Along with her parents Mary was preceded in death by her husband Donald Zimmerman Sr., sons Charles E., Carl R., and Donald E. Zimmerman Jr., granddaughter Jayme Lyn Croston, and sisters Dolores Englehardt and Shirley Moser. Visitation will be Sunday, December 5th from 3-6 P.M. at Paquelet Funeral Home 1100 Wales Rd. NE. A memorial service will be held Monday at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home where additional visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Fr. Thomas Cebula will officiate.
