Mary T. Zingrone

Mary T. Zingrone, 81 of Massillon, passed away Friday, April 10, 2009. Mary was born on December 18, 1927 in Massillon to Peter and Rose (Nibeel) Malvutch. She graduated from Washington High School and Walsh College. Mary worked at Corondite Refactories until she married her husband, Emmanuel Zingrone on October 15, 1960. Mary went on to teach 3rd and 4th grades at St. Mary’s School in Massillon. Mary was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Massillon where she was a lector, a Eucharistic minister and in the Christian Mothers Altar Rosary Society and Legion of Mary. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Joseph Malvutch, sister Anna (Malvutch) Stauffer, and her husband Emmanuel. She is survived by her daughters: Mariangela (son-in-law, Russell) Pfister of Columbus, Rose Zingrone of Pittsburgh, Catherine Zingrone of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren: Sarah Catherine, Dominic, and Genevieve; and close family friend Robin Brunswick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 1:00 P.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Massillon with Fr. Raymond Paul officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and on Monday from 11:00 AM until 12:40 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon.
