Mary N. Byrd

Mary N. Byrd, 76, passed away unexpectedly, on Sunday, January 4, 2015. She was born on April 11, 1938 to the late William and Virginell (Adams) Toles. A graduate of Washington High School, Class of 1956, and Mary was a retiree of the Timken Company. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Mary is survived by, a son, Kenneth Arlen Bryd of Canton; husband, Early Merriweather of Massillon; a brother, William Toles; three sisters, Esther Byrd of Columbus, Sandra Newman and Eleanor Peterson both of Massillon. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Vernon Toles. Friends and family may call from 9:00AM-11:00AM on Friday, January 9, 2015 at Friendship Baptist Church, where a Home Going Celebration will be held at 11:00AM, Rev. Reginald J. Hye, officiating.
