Mary M. Murray age 90 of Massillon passed away Saturday November 21, 2009 at her residence, peacefully and comfortably surrounded by her family. Mary was born May 8, 1919 in Wheeling, WV to the late Guiseppe & Sabina (Fabrizio) Paolucci. She and her husband Jack moved to Massillon in 1948. She was a wonderful caregiver to her family and gave her time and love unselfishly. She enjoyed family gatherings and tending her flowers. Sharing and knowing many blessings, Mary celebrated 90 years of strong faith, life, love and service to her family and friends and all who knew her. She is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers Altar Rosary Confraternity and a volunteer at the soup kitchen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Jack Murray (1981), a brother, Vincent, three sisters, Virginia, Bessie and Florence. Mary is survived by nine children and their spouses; Tom (Brenda) Murray of Alexandria, OH, Sheila (Ellis Skaggs) Torre, Bill (Penny) Murray, Cindy (Derrell) Haley, Gloria Holman, Sean Murray, Kate (Jim) Warren all of Massillon, Bridget (Ross) Belloni of Brownsburg, IN, Mike (Cheryl) Murray of Dalton, OH.; three siblings, Anne Peake, Irene Bickmeier and Joe Paolucci; twenty-five grandchildren; Christine, Jack, Molly, Annie, Jason, Victor, Kellie, Stephanie, Dustin, Nathan, Matthew, Zachary, Adam, Sada, Wendy, Michela, John, Emily, Nicholas, Amy, Joshua, Brianna, Mark, Mike, Brooke, and eighteen great grandchildren and two great grandchildren soon to be born. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Massillon, her pastor Fr. Raymond Paul will officiate. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. The family would appreciate contributions to either the St. Joseph Soup Kitchen or the Multiple Sclerosis Society. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Briones and staff, Affinity Medical Center and Akron General Visiting Nurse Hospice for their loving care.
