Mary Montini

Mary Montini age 90 of Massillon passed away Saturday at Rose Lane. Mary was born April 2, 1921 in Massillon to the late Mike & Susan (Jurco) Halco. Mary retired from Ecko Housewares. She liked spending time with her daughters and their children. Mary enjoyed shopping and eating out with her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John F. Montini, a sister Ruth Donahue and son in law Ross Carter. Mary is survived by two daughters and their families, Susan Carol Carter and Shirley Ann Schoenfeld; grandchildren, Duane, Randy, & Dean Carter; Dana Cottle, Debbie (Gary) Brown, & Cliff (Holly) Schoenfeld; great grandchildren, Taylor, Destiny, Alyssa, Ashley, Jenna, Matt & Triton. She has a sister and four brothers, Helen Jones, Andy, Mike, Harry and Russell Halco. Funeral services will be 10 AM Friday at the Paquelet Funeral Home, Rev. Rhonda Gallagher of St. Paul's Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
