Mary M. Mccurdy

Mary M. McCurdy, age 78 of Canal Fulton, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Chapel Hill Community after battling cancer. She was born on January 28, 1934 in Akron, Ohio to Peter and Teresa Kauslick. She was an honorary member of the Altar & Rosary Society as well as a lay minister for her church, SS. Philips and James Catholic Church in Canal Fulton. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert whom she was married to for 50 years and an infant son. She is survived by her sons Gerald, Ron, David (Kelly) and John (Sandra) and daughters, Diann Goch, Carol Jackson (James), Donna Collingwood (Wayne), Teresa Beers, Susan Anstine (Matthew) along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also surviving are her brother, Peter J. Kauslick and sisters, Marilyn Seals (Jerry) and Annette Pedus (Robert). Family and friends will be received on Sunday, October 7th from 3-6 P.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Road NE in Massillon. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday at 10:00 A.M. at SS. Philips & James Catholic Church, 412 High St., in Canal Fulton. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Randolph, Ohio.
