Mary M. Chaddock

Mary “Sid” M. Chaddock, age 95 of Massillon, passed away on November 18, 2017. She was born on August 18, 1922 to the late William and Margaret (Charlton) Maier. She was a 1940 graduate of Washington High School. She married Ned Chaddock on March 06, 1942 and they shared 56 years until his passing. Sid worked for the Clerk of the Courts and was later secretary under Mayor Demmer. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and entertaining family and friends, but especially taking care of her grandchildren. Sid is survived by her children Linda (Lloyd) Forrer, Gary Chaddock and Mark Chaddock; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; her sisters Barbara Jenkins and Germaine Jenkins and a host of nieces and nephews. Sid was preceded in death by her daughter Janice Chaddock; her son Chris Chaddock; her brothers William Maier, David Maier, John Maier and James Maier. A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 11a.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. The family will receive friends from 10a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be private.
