Mary Lou Maurer

Mary Lou Maurer, 92, of Massillon, passed away on February 21, 2025. She was born in Freeport, OH on May 26, 1932 to the late Emerson and Bertha {Stevens} Lynn. 

In addition to her parents, Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband James Maurer, their sons Michael and Patrick Maurer, brothers James and Arthur Lynn, and sisters Patricia Graber, Joan Olshawski and Carol Dill. 

Mary Lou is survived by her loving daughter, Amy (Jacob) Heidt; grandchildren Jason (Brandi), Brad and Michelle Heidt; brother Robert (Ursula) Lynn; sisters Jean Leonard, Sandy Gonter and Judy Rohn; many nieces, nephews and their families. 

Mary Lou was a lector for St. Mary's Catholic Church in Massillon. 

Family and friends are invited to visit at Paquelet Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Ave. NE, Massillon, OH 44646 on Wednesday, February 26th from 10:00 a.m. until the service that begins at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Massillon, where Mary Lou will be laid to rest with James.
