Mary L. King, age 76 of Massillon, went to be with the Lord Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Brewster Parke surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 24, 1934 in Coshocton Co. the daughter of the late Charles and Lucy (Conger) Mobley. Mary was a member of the American Legion Post #221, Eagles #190 and attended the Massillon Nazarene Church. She worked for Ohio Bell as a telephone operator, Time Warner Cable Co. as a telemarketer, at Davis Wholesale and 3M. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Marjorie Courtwright and her brothers Wilbur, Kenny and Harold Mobley. She is survived by her loving husband Jack L. King, Sr. with whom she married on September 5, 1953; her children and their spouses, Jack L. King (Kay) Jr. of Mobile, AL, Diana (Dave) Miller of Massillon and Michelle (Jeff) Brugh of Massillon; her grandchildren, Melissa, Brodie, Brandon, Richard, Danielle and Shannon; her great-grandchildren, Brittany, Quade and Kelsey and her sister Ruth Guthrie of Canton. A Celebration of Mary’s Life will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at 6:00 PM at the Paquelet and Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Friends may gather at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
