Mary L. Conway-Griffith

Mary L. Conway Griffith, 88 of Bradenton, FL passed away Friday, August 19, 2016. Mary was born on January 1, 1928 in Youngstown the daughter of the late Joseph and Sadie Conway. Mary was a 1947 graduate of Youngstown North High School and later graduated from Canton City Adult Education LPN class in 1968. She most recently worked as a private duty nurse and also worked at several doctor's offices. Mary enjoyed music, square dancing and spending time at the ocean watching sun sets. She was a member of Bradenton Baptist Church. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Griffith, sister, Frances Colangelo, brother Edward Conway, brother-in-law Gene Colangelo, and her nephews Phil Colangelo, and William Conway and granddaughter-in-law Stacy Gardner. She is survived by her sons, Timothy (Mary) Gardner and James Gardner; her grandchildren, Michael and Richard (Crystal) Gardner; great grandchildren, Mikayla, Nathaniel and Luke; sister-in-law, Sally Conway; nieces and nephews, Edward (Ginger) Conway Jr., Jeanie Conway and Linda Conway (Steve) Cox; great nieces and nephews, Michele Colangelo (Michael) Tamarkin, Leslie Colangelo (Mark) Worsencroft, Chrissy Colangelo (David) Blasko, Coni Colangelo (John) Mitchell, and Gino (Candy) Colangelo; great-great nieces and nephews; and her step-sons, David (Vera) Griffith, Dale Griffith and Don Griffith. The family would like to thank the staff at Brewster Parke and Mercy Hospice for their compassion, care and support. Cremation has taken place. There will be no calling hours or services.
