Mary Katherine Selogy

Mary K. Selogy, age 69 of Massillon, passed away on July 28, 2017. She was born on November 29, 1947, in Wallace, West Virginia to the late Willard and Alberta Roe. Mary grew up in the Massillon area graduating from Jackson High School in 1966. She worked 35 years at the Satellite Grill as well as other establishments over the years making an abundance of friends with the gift of listening and giving advices She will forever be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt & friend. Mary leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Brenda (Ed Gorby) Weaver, Tiffany Selogy, her son Tom Cecil; her grandchildren Richard (Erica) Weaver, Marenda Weaver, Cierra Kiko, Jason Daniels, Emily Baker, Lillian and Eddy Gorby; her great-grandchildren Emma Weaver and 2 on the way. Brother & Sisters Dorothy Gump, Williard Roe, Ruth Powers, Debra Gray, Shirley Sampsel, Samuel Roe & David Roe and many nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her sisters Jean Harvey, Peanie Jones, Karen McKenzie; her borther Bob Roe and her former husband of 32 years Danny Selogy. A Gathering of family and friends will be held at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Sunday, August 6, 2017 from 1-3p.m. Donations can be made to the family to help with expenses and raising her granddaughter.
