Mary K. Nosis

Mary K. Nosis, of Massillon, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Rose Lane Health Care Center. She was born in Galesburg, IL on January 27, 1913 and was the daughter of the late Steven and Katherine (Zogas) Nosis Mary earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education at Kent State University. She was a member of the KSU Alumni Association. For 45 years Mary was an elementary school teacher. Most of her years were spent in the Massillon City Schools. She was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Massillon. She was also a member of Kappa Delta Pi Sorority and the Philoptohos Society at her church. Along with her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brother, James Nosis. Memorials may be made in her name to St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 364 First Street SE, Massillon, Ohio 44646. Her caregiver Shirley Harper wishes to thank Niki and the nurses, aides and staff of Rose Lane Health Care Center for their loving care shown to Mary.
