The Lord has taken one of his angels, Mary Jane Bach, age 75, home to be with him. She passed at home Saturday, February 26th early in the morning surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Claysville, PA, the daughter of the Charles J. Carter and Jane Marie Royer, she was a lifelong resident of Massillon. Mary Jane devoted her life to the Lord, her savior, and to raising her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her friends in the Red Hat Society as well as volunteering her time at the local hospital gift shops. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Herman J. Bach Jr., her sister Esther Wenzel, and children: John & Sandy (Arbaugh) Bach and his children: Brandon, Ryan and Evan, Joanne Abbate and her children: Jayne and Gratton, Julia Bach, James Bach, Brian & Cheryl (Tessennee) Bach and his children: Sarah, Joshua, Abigail and Reagan, Dr. Brent & Heidi (Ross) Bach and his children: Carter and Amelia and two special children in her life: Ellen and Emily Raies. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Charles Carter, Paul Carter, Joanne Roseman, Jean McAfee and Julia Yoder. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, March 2nd at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Road N.E. in Massillon. Calling hours will be at noon followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. The family suggests memorial contributions to Community Hospice, 201 West 3rd Street Dover, OH, 44622.
