Mary H. Kip Soldatis age 78 of Massillon passed away Saturday December 10, 2005 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born March 17, 1927 in Massillon to the late Charles F. & Laura J. (Baldwin) Kipfer. She was a 1945 graduate of Washington High School. She had been employed at the former Enterprise Aluminum. Mary was known for her kind heart. She loved to make others laugh and was known for her quick wit. She was a sports advocate all her life. Kip was the first president of the Elms Lady Golfers. She was the former secretary of the Massillon Women's Bowling Association and later elected a life member. She was also a former director of the Ohio Women's Bowling Association of which she was a member of emeritus. She is survived by: Husband of 57 years, Louis Soldatis of the residence Children: Betty Soldatis-Hayes of Galloway, OH Gary Soldatis of Massillon Grandchildren: Mary Lou & Sean Brother: Colonel Donald C. Kipfer (ret.) of Punta Gorda FL A Memorial Service will be 11:00am Monday, December 19, 2005 at Grace United Church of Christ, 933 Main Ave. SW. Massillon, OH 44647, the Rev. James Painting will officiate. Committal will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 am until the time of the service at the church on Monday.
