March 24, 1925 — April 7, 2009

Mary Ellen “Marnie” Krichbaum, 84, lifelong Navarre resident passed away Tuesday April 7, 2009 at the home of her sister and niece Lisa Conley of Massillon. She was born in Navarre, March 24, 1925 the daughter of the late Adolph “Tate” and Dorothy (Baker) Lintner. Mary had worked at the Navarre V.F.W., and also Tommy’s Tavern. She was a lifetime member of the Navarre V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, and was a member of St. Clement Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, and playing cards. Mary was like a mother to all of her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy “Pete” Krichbaum in 1983. Mary is survived by brothers Raymond Lintner of Navarre, and Louis (Zyria) Miller of Warren, OH; sister Patricia (Clarence) Conley of Massillon; niece and caregiver Lisa Conley of Massillon, and niece Sandy (Dennis) Speicher of Las Vegas, NV; nephews Patrick (Karen) Kelly of Massillon, Jeffrey Kelly of Navarre, Thomas Kelly of Carrollton, Mitchell (Helen) Lintner of Texas, and Richard Lintner of Massillon; brothers-in-law A. Edward Schwab of Brewster, Robert Kelly of Canton; sisters-in-law Wava Lintner of Massillon, and Deloris Lintner of Navarre. She is also survived by special nieces and nephews of the Billie and Schwab families. She was also preceded in death by a sister Judy Kelly, and a brother Thomas Lintner. Calling hours will be Monday from 4-8 P.M. at Paquelet Funeral Home 1100 Wales Rd. NE, Massillon, OH 44646. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Clement Catholic Church, Navarre with Fr. Thomas Cebula officiating. Burial will follow in St. Clement Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions in Mary’s memory may be made to Akron General V.N.S. Hospice.
