Mary Ellen Huwig

Mary Ellen Huwig, 67, of Massillon, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 22, 2021. Mary Ellen was born on June 7, 1953, in Massillon the daughter of the late Ralph and Virginia (Moore) Huwig. She was a lifelong resident of Massillon and a 1971 graduate of Central Catholic High School. Mary Ellen retired from BJ’s Wholesale Club. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her nieces, nephew, and grandnieces. Mary Ellen loved shopping for her nieces and nephew. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She is survived by her brother, Vince (Mary Ann) Huwig, and sister, Mary Ann (Nick) D’Onghia; nieces and nephew, Steven (Tanya) Huwig, Kathryn (Heinz Huber) Huwig, Danielle (Dan) Petrovski, Christine (Daniel) Bills, and four grandnieces.
