Mary E. Klein

Mary E. Klein, age 82 of Navarre, died on Monday, December 8, 2008 at Altercare of Nobles Pond. She was born on August 13, 1926 in Navarre and was the daughter of the late Warren and Ethel (Airhart) Bowers. She was a lifelong Navarre resident. Mary was a homemaker and was a 1944 graduate of Navarre High School and was a lifelong member of St. Clement Catholic Church and a member of the churches Altar Rosary Society. She was a member of the Wives of the V.F.W. of Navarre Along with her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Derwood Klein, her brother Robert Bowers and her sisters, Donna Shanklin and Rosemarie Morrison. She is survived by her children, Jane Klein of Canton, Marianne (Jim) Mazziotta of Pennsylvania, Susan (James) Klein-Little of Oregon, Gregory Klein of Texas and Claudia (Bruce) Wood of Pennsylvania, 10 grandchildren , 6 great grandchildren and her sister Geraldine Geis of Navarre. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 9:00 A.M. at St. Clement Catholic Church with Fr. Edward Beneleit officiating.
