Mary E. Berbari

Mary E. Berbari, 91, of Massillon passed away on November 6, 2021. She was born in Detroit, MI on November 7, 1929, The daughter of Helen (Gamal) and Joseph Barber. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother “Sitti” and Great-grandmother devoted to her Catholic faith. Mary’s love of others was very evident as she would always think of others first always helping family and friends in their time of need. Mary was also known for her love to cook and bake, always sharing her meals with all she knew and didn’t know. Mary is survived by her loving husband, John F. Berbari, sons, John Berbari and Michael (Peggy) Berbari; daughter, Debra (Mike Reichlin) Heck; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Mary on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 by Fr. Raymond Paul at 11am in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Massillon. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at the Laurels of Massillon and Crossroads Hospice for all their compassion and care they provided.
