Mary Anne Sterba

Mary A. Sterba, age 71 went home to be with the Lord on October 25, 2013. She was born on November 01, 1941 in Akron to the late Herman and Laura Aberth. She married Jerry F. Sterba on July 31, 1966 and they spent nearly 42 years together until his passing on March 22, 2008. Mary was a homemaker taking care of her family. She was also devoted to her Church family at St. John's Lutheran Church where she participated in the choir and bible study. Mary was a warm, caring and loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend. She is survived by her children; Stephanie Sterba, Karen (Jason) Wells, Michelle Sterba and Kevin Sterba; her grandchildren Emily Wells, Lily Sterba and Jacob Wells; her sisters, Ruth Peterson, Marty Aberth and Lois (Jack) Sampson; a brother Jim (Mary Kay) Aberth as well as a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by her brother Tom Aberth. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John Lutheran Church on Wales Road in Massillon. Reverend John Telloni, Officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 and from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the Church.
