Mary Ann Henderson

Mary Ann Henderson, 75 of Massillon, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2014. Mary Ann was born on February 24, 1939 in Bristolville, Ohio the daughter of John and Florence (Sexton) Hyde. She lived here most of her life and was a 1957 graduate of Jackson High School. Mary Ann worked at First Merit – Massillon and retired after 28 years of service. She loved bowling, watching sports, and tending to her flower gardens. Mary Ann was an active member of The Massillon Women's Club and Calvary Chapel. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Phoebe Hyde Moore. She is survived by her husband of 52 years Earl W. Henderson whom she married on February 16, 1962; her sons, Brian (Debby) Henderson and John (Rhonda) Henderson; her grandchildren, Maggie, Mallory, Jacob, Andrew, and Jack; and her nephews, Chris (Cindy) Moore and John Eric (Lori) Moore. A Celebration of Mary Ann's life will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Her pastor, Dr. Robert N. Renberg, Jr. will be officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 3-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
